A person, no matter how long they may have lived, who loved, or toiled to raise a family, or taught their children kindness and respect, or helped their friends in sickness and adversity, or feared and worshipped their God - such a person deserves a memorial. Let each person have within themselves the knowledge that in a selected place of their own choosing there be a meaningful granite monument respecting their life and what they lived for.
